Nursery Deputy Manager

Winchmore Hill House Nursery are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team. This is a brand-new nursery for 50 children aged 3months to 5 years in Winchmore. Equipped to a high standard with all new equipment & various resources including a large spacious garden.

Located just a few minutes away from the Winchmore Hill and Grange Park train stations, with a prominent position this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.

We are seeking an experienced room-based Deputy Manager to join our team. You must love children and be highly committed to providing them with the very best care and stimulation.

You will have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • Minimum NVQ level 3 childcare and education.
  • Understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Experience and knowledge of safeguarding practice
  • Previous supervisory experience (Room Leader role or higher)


You will still remain room-based but will be expected to take on a more senior role with more responsibility.

Any application will only be confirmed if a satisfactory enhanced disclosure is obtained from the DBS, supported by references and satisfactory right to work checks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £34,000.00 per year

Winchmore Hill House are seeking to employ Qualified Early Years Educator to work within their team based in Winchmore Hill.

Salary : up to £,32,000.00 per annum dependent on experience and qualifications.

You will be working full time hours per week Monday – Friday shift pattern between the opening hours of the nursery.

Positions available with an immediate start.

Purpose of the Post:

  • To contribute a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the Setting;
  • To give support to other personnel within the Setting;
  • To implement the daily routine in the base room.
  • Effective planning and next steps relevant to children in the room.
  • Delegate and lead the staff team in the room.


Key Areas:

  • Work with Children;
  • Team Work;
  • Liaise with Parents/carers.


Responsible to:

Manager

Any offer is subject to satisfactory UKVI clearance, DBS and references.

We offer work placements for various qualifications in Early Years. Whether you are retraining after a career change, moved to the UK from abroad, or simply continuing your education at college, we’re the right place for you! If you are just entering this industry, there are Level 2 and 3 qualifications offered to you to start your career; if you are an experienced early years educators you can progress your career further with a Level 5 management course, foundation degree or teaching degree.
